Dietble — Changing Eating Behaviour

This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes Dietble ("Dietble", "we", "us", "our") privacy practices of processing data when you ("you" or "user") install and use our App and its Services and it is an integrated part of our Terms of Use ("Terms"). Definitions herein shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Terms. This Privacy Policy provides important and transparent disclosures on how or why we collect, share and use users' data.


Please note that this Privacy Policy covers solely our privacy practices. In the event you use the App with Third Party Nutritionist (as defined in out Terms), the Third-Party Nutritionist will have full access to your data and we are not responsible nor shall be liable for its privacy practices, which might be different from ours.



We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion; such changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy Policy. The last revision date will be reflected in the "Last Modified" heading. Your continued use of our App and Services following the amendments constitutes your acknowledgement and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments. In the event of a material change we will make best efforts to display applicable notification.



While you are using the App, we may collect three types of information you, as follows:


In the event we combine Personal Data or Sensitive Data with Non-Personal Data, the combined data will be treated as Personal Data or Sensitive Data (as applicable) for as long as it remains combined.

When you register to our Services, and in order to create your Account, you will be requested to choose a user name and a password, as well as submit a valid email address. In addition, you will be requested to submit your full name, gender, date of birth, phone number, country, city, height and weight. In addition, we may calculate your BNI.

We will use this data in order to perform our contract with you, meaning for the purpose of creating your Account, and provide you the Services.


As part of the Services you may choose to submit certain information and variables related to your eating habits such as: duration of your meal, and related feedback according to a generic questionnaire (e.g., your satisfactory, did you eat alone, did you eat at home or at work, etc.)

We will use this information in order to perform our contract with you and provide you with the Services.

We also collect certain technical Non-Personal Data (as detailed above) which relates to your use of the App such as (but not limited to): the time and date you access our App, language preference, your actions within our App, etc.

We use this technical data in order to operate manage and improve our App.

If you voluntarily contact us whether through any means of communication, you may be required to provide us with certain information such as your name and email address.

We will use this data solely to provide you with the support you have requested or response to your inquiry.

Internal statistics and research

We may use the data provided by our users, aggregate it, and use it for the purpose of internal statistics, analysis, and research. Aggregated data does not identify you (i.e., your data is aggregated with other users, and does not include identifying features such as name, email address, etc.)




We may collect the above detailed data from you, in the following manners:



We do not share any Personal or Sensitive Data collected from you with third parties except in the following events:

         Service Providers - we may share your data with third parties that perform services on our behalf (e.g., servers, service functionality and support, etc.) these third are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing the requested services on our behalf;



We retain the data we collect as long as it remains necessary for the purposes set forth above, all in accordance with applicable laws, or until an individual expresses a preference to delete its data. We may at our sole discretion, delete or amend information from our systems, without notice to you, once we deem it is no longer necessary for such purposes. Note that, in the event you uninstall the App or request to delete your Account, we might not be able to restore your data and it is your responsibility to maintain records you find necessary.



We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of our App, Services and your data. We employ industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of our users' data and prevent unauthorized use of any such. We have implemented technical, physical and administrative security measures to protect the data. In addition, we limit access to your data on our servers. The data collected by us is stored in third party's data servers we engage with. Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse our Services, and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that we will prevent such access.


Further, in the event of a data breach, in which we discover your Personal or Sensitive Data is at risk, we will provide with a written notification, subject to applicable law requirements.



We may store or process your data in the US, EEA or in other countries. If you use our Services from locations outside of the EEA, please note that any information you provide to us through your use of our Service may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country from which you accessed our App. If you are a resident of the EEA we will take appropriate measures to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of data protection upon its transfer outside of the EEA. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction where transfer of your data requires your consent, then your consent to this Privacy Policy includes your consent for such transfer of your data.



Individuals have the right to know what information we hold about them and, in some cases, to have such information communicated to them. Individuals may also ask for our confirmation as to whether or not we process their Personal or Sensitive Data. Subject to the limitations in applicable law and depending on your jurisdiction, individuals may also be entitled to obtain from us the Personal or Sensitive Data they have provided to us in a structured, commonly-used, and machine-readable format, and may have the right to transmit such data another party.


The principal rights under applicable data protection law in relation to Personal or Sensitive Data are as follows (depending on your jurisdiction): the right to access any information which is provided to us; the right to rectification; the right to erasure; the right to restrict processing; the right to object to processing; the right to data portability; the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in the event you are EEA resident); and the right to withdraw consent (to the extent applicable).

We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with any such information in accordance with applicable law. In addition, the process of locating and deleting the data may take up to one (1) month (following the receipt of the validation proof we require) in accordance with applicable law.


Data privacy and related laws in your jurisdiction may provide you with different or additional rights related to the data we collect from you, which may also apply.



The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18). Accordingly, we do not use the Services to knowingly solicit data from or market to children as defined under applicable law (e.g. thirteen (13) regarding US individuals and sixteen (16) regarding European Economic Area ("EEA") individuals). We request that such individuals do not provide Personal or Sensitive Data through our Services. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage so that we can verify that children under the age of eighteen (18) are not using the Services.
